Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-08
1. General Provisions
These terms govern the use of the Wolkup platform, including the website and mobile app. By using the platform, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Definitions
Platform — the Wolkup service designed for tracking user activity, motivation, and workouts. User — an individual using the platform. Subscription — a paid feature providing access to additional service capabilities.
3. Sign-in Methods
Sign-in works via a one-time code sent to your email address. For other uses of your email, see the "Notifications" section.
4. Legacy Sign-in Methods
Login via Google, Sign in with Apple, and Telegram was previously available. New sign-ins with these methods are not possible. The data of such accounts is preserved for their owners and can be deleted upon request.
5. Strava Integration
The platform may use the Strava API to import workouts. We receive: activity date, type, duration, distance, calories, heart rate (if available). This data is deleted upon disconnection of the integration.
5.1 Apple Health and Google Fit Integration
The platform may integrate with Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit (Android) to import workout data. We may collect the same data categories as with Strava, as well as additional information about the device and workout events. Data from Apple Health or Google Fit is sent to our server only if you choose to import it. Once imported, it remains until you delete it manually or via support. Other data previously obtained from these integrations remains until it is deleted upon request or the account is removed.
With sync enabled, the app may also write finished workouts to Apple Health (type, duration, distance, calories, and route) and read your body weight. Writing is controlled by a separate toggle in the settings. Your body-weight measurements — read from Apple Health or entered manually — are stored as a history on our servers to show your weight trend over time; see the Privacy Policy for details.
5.2 Sensor-based Features
Certain workout modes use device sensors:
- Camera — for pose recognition and rep counting. Processing happens on-device; camera frames are never stored or sent to our servers, only numeric results are saved.
- Location (including background location, with your permission) — to record the route of walks, runs, and map-based game modes.
- Pedometer and motion sensors — for steps and cadence.
- Apple Watch (if available) — to measure heart rate and cadence during workouts.
These features work only after you grant the corresponding system permissions; declining them does not block the rest of the platform.
6. Paid Features
Wolkup provides access to additional features via subscription. The terms, price, and description of the subscription are published separately. We may modify paid features with prior notice.
6.1 AI Features
Some platform features (the weekly AI training report, and AI-generated training plans) are produced automatically from your data using a language model. The AI is not a qualified trainer, physician, or other specialist. Such reports, recommendations, and plans are for informational purposes only and do not replace professional advice. Whether to follow the suggested exercises and targets, to what extent, and with what changes is a decision you make yourself; you may adjust the plan in any way or disregard it entirely.
7. Age and Acceptable Use
The platform may be used by individuals aged 16 or older. It is prohibited to:
- use bots, scripts, or automation;
- share your account credentials with third parties;
- use the service for commercial purposes without written consent from IE Zaborskiy Artyom.
8. Public Activity and Feed
All users automatically participate in the leaderboard and have a public profile. The leaderboard shows the number of workouts per week and the current streak. The public profile may include additional open information such as an avatar, recent workouts, and social connections.
In the future, users will be able to limit profile visibility and hide certain elements.
9. Notifications
The platform may send notifications about achievements, subscriptions, updates, and other events — in the app, via push, and by email. Email notifications are on by default and can be turned off in the app settings or via the "Unsubscribe" link in the email. Promotional ("Promo") notifications are the exception — off by default, and only turned on explicitly by the user in settings.
10. Access Termination and Deletion
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of violations or technical issues. You can delete your account in the app via profile settings. All related data will be permanently deleted.
11. Training and Limitation of Liability
Training on the platform (including via camera, GPS, and other sensors) is voluntary and at your own risk. Physical activity carries a risk of injury, including serious injury. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, have a chronic illness, or other contraindications, consult a physician before using the platform. If you feel dizzy, experience pain, shortness of breath, or otherwise feel unwell during a workout, stop immediately.
Platform content — exercises, targets, plans, and any recommendations, including those generated by AI (see 6.1) — is provided "as is", is for informational purposes only, and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is not liable for harm to health, life, or property arising from use of the platform or from following the suggested exercises, targets, or plans.
12. Jurisdiction
The platform is provided by IE Zaborskiy Artyom. Servers are located in Moscow, Russia. Use of the service is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always available on this page. In case of significant changes, we will notify you via the app or browser.
