Personal records
What's new
- A Records section in your profile: personal bests per activity — walking, running, cycling, skating. Each record shows a top three with dates, and any result opens the workout it came from.
- Best efforts are found with a sliding window over your track. Your best kilometre is the fastest kilometre inside a workout, wherever it happened — not the split that closed at the marker. That's how the big trackers do it, and it's the only way the number compares honestly between workouts.
- Your whole history counts. The screen doesn't start empty: everything you've already walked and run is in there the first time you open it.
- Each activity gets its own axes. Walking leads with distance, steps and newly explored places — where progress actually shows; running and cycling lead with speed over distance.
- Metric and mile distances share one ladder — a mile is its own discipline, not a converted kilometre. Pace and speed still display in your own units.
- Workout cards now carry a Best efforts block: every result from that specific workout, with a medal where it lands in your top three. It's there on every workout, not only on record days.
- Finish a walk or run and you'll see a badge for the record you've just set.
What doesn't count
- Workouts whose distance was estimated from steps don't set speed records: that pace is modelled, not measured.
- A tracker left running won't take first place — the motionless tail of a workout is trimmed off.
- Impossible speeds are rejected, so one bad GPS point can't own the top spot forever.
